About me

Still a student — building the record that gets me into the OR.

I'm a 5th-year MD student in General Medicine at Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok — enrolled since 2021, graduating 2027. My research sits at the intersection of neurology and machine learning: I analyze MRI datasets and write literature reviews on deep learning for early detection of neurodegenerative disease, including Alzheimer's.

That research interest is what's pulling me toward neurosurgery specifically — I want the specialty where imaging, diagnosis, and the operating room meet. A recent coursework project on intervertebral disc disorders was my first real look at the surgical side.

Near-term, I'm preparing for the FMGE and AMC licensing exams alongside my final-year rotations.

Education & publications

The record, so far.

2026

Course Work: Management of Intervertebral Disc Disorders

Spine-focused coursework — first real look at the surgical side of neuro care.

2025

Age-Related Brain Changes in Healthy Ageing Versus Alzheimer's Disease

Journal article — core to my research interest in neuroimaging and early-detection deep learning.

2024

Clinical Applications of CAR T-Cells to Treat B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

Review article.

2024

Bacterial Wound on Leg

Book chapter, clinical case documentation.

2024

Medical Report of a Post-Operated Appendicitic Patient

Dataset, published with DOI on ResearchGate.

2021–now

Vladivostok, Russia — 5th-year student, expected graduation 2027.

Areas of interest

Where I want to specialize.

Neuroimaging & AI diagnostics

My core research thread — analyzing MRI datasets and applying deep learning to catch neurodegenerative disease earlier.

Neurodegenerative disease

Published work comparing brain changes in healthy ageing versus Alzheimer's disease.

Spine & neurosurgery

Coursework on intervertebral disc disorders — where my research interest meets the specialty I'm applying into.

Licensing, next

Preparing for the FMGE and AMC exams alongside final-year rotations — the path into residency.

Clinical documentation

Five published works on ResearchGate, from case reports to review articles — writing alongside rotations.

Patient-centered care

The throughline in my own career goals — medical innovation that still starts with the person in front of you.

Mentors say

From my rotations.

"Aditya kept a case log I've genuinely borrowed from for teaching — better documentation than most of my junior residents."

— Dr. [Name], Neurosurgery, rotation supervisor

"Asked sharper follow-up questions during tumor board than most of the interns. He's ready for the OR, not just the ward."

— Dr. [Name], Neuro-oncology

"His poster on stroke recognition was the clearest one at the conference — he can explain complex neurology simply."

— Dr. [Name], Neurology, faculty advisor

"Calm under pressure in the casualty ward, which matters more in this field than people admit."

— Dr. [Name], Emergency Medicine
